Mrs. Eleni Koliopoulos
Happy Friday 4th Grade 210 Students and Families!
What an amazing group of students we have! We had a wonderful first week back to school, and are looking forward to the year ahead. Thank you for making this week so wonderful 🙂. Notes and Reminders:
Weekly Overview of Assignments
Homework Students’ weekly homework is listed below. All students are expected to read 30 minutes/night. In addition they are assigned weekly Reading Homework, which I will pass out at the beginning of each week and will be due every Friday. Students are also assigned daily Math Homework aligned with our math lessons. The homework will usually come from their Home Links Book. Students received their Home Link Books today, which should stay at home and/or in their backpacks. Students should complete Home Link homework nightly and submit it the day after it is assigned.
We will also have Weekly Spelling Tests. Students will work with weekly spelling words during “word-work” each week. The tests will be counted towards participation. For every 5 tests students receive 100% they will be able to choose a prize! This week’s Spelling Words (Test **Friday** September 1): sandwich, blanket, effort, package, extra, traffic, napkin, panic, basket, address, cabin, banner, gather, salad, celery. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for all of your support. Sincerely yours, Eleni Lemberis Koliopoulos
