Mrs. Eleni Koliopoulos
Hello Room 209 Students and Families,
I hope everyone is having a nice and relaxing weekend! Notes and Reminders:
Weekly Overview of Assignments With the short week, we will stick to our routine for the most part, and add in some new activities! This week in Reading the class will continue to read and discuss our class novel, Out of My Mind. We will meet with all guided reading groups on Monday and Tuesday to continue reading and studying biographies (times will be adjusted to accommodate all students due to the shortened week, but will not go outside of our normal scheduled screen time). In Writing students will complete an fun self-portrait activity, which allows them to express and describe themselves! Students will also write Thankful poems. In Math we will continue studying Unit 3- Fractions and Decimals. This week students will be introduced and work to solve problems involving the relationship between fractions and decimals. In Social Studies students will learn and review the history of Thanksgiving. In addition, we will learn why turkey has become a Thanksgiving staple in many homes. Homework
To those who celebrate- Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has an enjoyable long weekend with their family. Please email me with any questions, comments, or concerns at [email protected]. Sincerely yours, Ms. Lemberis and Ms.Graflund
